Changes for this year's awards include:
  •  SEVEN finalists for every photographic category - with TEN finalists for Hair Shot of the Year
  • And only THREE images needed for Apprentice of the Year entries

And good news for everyone who loved the Digital Influencer of the Year and Hair Shot of the Year - these two fun categories are here to stay! 

Important dates for you to know are:

10 December 2018 – Entries close
28 January 2019 – Judging in London
18 February 2019 – Live Finalists Announcement
14 April 2019 – AHFA 2019 Gala Night

Zuri by Carole Haddad, Corcorz Hair
The Alternative Hair International Visionary Award is now closed, and the 2018 finalists include Australia's Carole Haddad of Corcorz Hair.  Carole will be on stage at the Alternative Hair Show in London presenting a look for the Zuri collection in October.

The Knight Circus by Natasha King, Fred's Hair, Invercargill
They say good luck comes in threes, as well as becoming a finalist in the AIPPs and scoring a cover in Taiwan, Tash King has also won Behind the Chair's #BigShot Avant-Garde International award!

The Industry Awards 2018 in New Zealand is now closed.

Finalists announced in late September, with the winners to be named 11 November in Auckland.

Entries in the new International Hairdressing Awards out of Spain are now closed.  Finalists will be announced at Salon Look Spain on 28 September.  The Awards ceremony will be on 3 February. Use this link for more information: http://www.ihawards.com/
